Something new in the shop

Post by Kevin Sjostrand »

Decided I'd like to have a small bandsaw again in the shop for cutting thin stock so I don't have to change the blades out on the Steel City Big Guy saw.
This one I think will be the treat. They are on sale right now at Sears.

Hi Diane, you have one too? It is a popular saw. I used it some today and it went well. It runs smooth and quiet.
So far I like it.

Seems like this saw has a bit of a following. I sure like mine. I think it performs very nicely for the little I paid for it. Especially with a good blade exchanged for the blade lookalike that Sears provided with the saw.

It's made for Craftsman by Rikon. It's a nice saw.

Looks exactly like a Rikon I bought from Woodcrafters. Very handy!
