binding machine, cutter & bearings

Post by Masato »

This is my first time acoustic guitar(000-12F) build from Japan.

Im planning to buy Router like 'bosch colt' and binding machine.

I found LMI and stewmac sells nice one.

[LMI Professional Binding Machine]

[TrueChannel Binding Router Jig]

I would like you to tell me which system is good or bad.

And I found stewmac cutter & bearings set is much cheaper than LMI.

Is there any quality difference?

Stewmac cutter & bearings fit for LMI bending machine?

Thank you.

We also carry the binding machines. what is your voltage requirement ? If you have 120 Vac I would use the ridgid router it is bolted on the machine and all adjustments are independent of the base . You can be very accurate. I also carry and use the binding machines and the bearing set. I like the one we have as it has the sizes etched into the bearings and makes figuring out the needed one a lot easier
