Your way of removing dried glue?

Post by deadedith »

Is there a good safe product for removing dried glue from a finished surface?
Thanks

Dave,
If you are talking about a guitar finish, I would think scraping it off with a razor blade down to the finish is going to work pretty good, then you can just re-polish the spot.

Kevin - thanks for the input, and if I had a steadier hand, scraping would be the way.

this is a piece of cake .. Take a cup of water and 1 table spoon of white vinegar , Take a small piece of paper towel towel and wet it let it set for a few minutes , that will soften the glue .

Once you've fired taters out of a homemade cannon, you've set the upper limit on fun...
