I just got a 23" scale fretboard for my future tenor project at a price I couldn't pass up. However, since I don't use my "shop" in the winter(I can't control the temp), I was concerned about it warping due to humidity changes before I got around to using it.
So I left it on the board it shipped with and vacuum sealed it with my food saver. Maybe it's overkill or not even necessary but it seemed like a good idea at the time.
