I didn't pause very long. I'm working on a full shop update that spread to the laundry room, furnace area, back basement, now the garage. My back is shot but it should be much improved building situation when complete (hopefully!)

improvements

New walls and door to close off shop area. It's 11'x14' including the staircase.
WEN air cleaner. Best $133 bucks I've spent in years. Wish I had his day 1.
Cleaned, painted floor w/ Rustoleum epoxyshield w/ the colored flecks. Worked very well. Drylock on walls.
new home made bench on wheels ( Ed, I'm coming to talk to you! )
led lighting
2 shop vacs in parallel w/ dust deputy in closet
RH% control
New CFCI runs.

Update on new layout. Keeping it clean and simple. Added walls, and a doorway. There is a separate storage room for overflow and messy storage. Idea is to keep it simple and surfaces easy to reset. The plywood wall has potential to have openings for various uses.

The air cleaner works great and the filter picked up a lot of dust coming off the bench as I worked. The key will be to seal all the walls and see if the dust doesn't build up outside the shop as much. Improved now but the air flows out over the walls.

Not used yet. I was buried in dust last time and am obsessing to keep the new basement clean.
