Short grained wood

So, it's a fact that we are not supposed to use wood with lots of short grain or end grain, which is what you get in curly wood. I've also proven to myself on camping trips that koa does not burn very good. So, guess I'll just have to keep using it! Life can be difficult sometimes.

Bob it really is not fair that you have all that beautiful wood right there in your back yard!

Nice looking instrument, Koa is my favorite tone wood. That Koa top looks perfectly quartered.
