Ukes

Post by Bob Gleason »

This was a new departure for me. A bare bones uke with no binding and no fancy stuff. Unmatched top, back, and sides so that I could use up left over pieces of wood I have collected over the years. Called it my "Natural Series" as opposed to my "Artist Series" which has the usual over the top wood and adornments. Mat finish to make life easier. Did not know if it would fly, but the two I made sold immediately. Good fun. Nice to take a break from intense building once in awhile.

Looks great, in fact, more 'artist series'-like than many of the expensive artist quality ukes I see. Is that a tenor-sized uke?

Nice Bob, if that is left over wood, and you have any you want to relieve yourself of, you can send it my may. Looks awesome!
