Been asking lots of questions on this one so thought I'd show off the completed project.
deep body 000, Martin short scale.
East Indian Rosewood back and sides
Adirondack spruce top,
scalloped adi bracing.
Ebony fingerboard and bridge
Curly maple binding with herringbone
Slotted headstock, ebony overlay.
Vintage Martin style rosette
French polish shellac finish
Very happy with how this one came out. It's loud and clear with that unique rosewood sound. I plan to have a guitarist friend do a demo for me in a few weeks so will post that when it's ready.

That looks really nice. I'm particularly noticing your choice of herringbone/curly maple, as that is what I've decided to use on guitar #6.
Don't believe everything you know.

Thanks. It seems impossible to keep the rosewood dust from staining the maple but luckily I like the color. Scraping helps but geez.MaineGeezer wrote: ↑Sat Jun 04, 2022 5:09 pm That looks really nice.
