The Gibson is finished and ready to travel back to the owner in California. This was quite a journey. It was a study in Murphys Law.
It's been strung up now for a week; I wanted to make sure I addressed everything and that no issues cropped up. I was concerned about the oversized bridge plate that I installed because of the damage, but I needn't have worried. It sounds terrific.
I have some recordings I'll share, as soon as I get them put into Audacity then uploaded into SoundCloud. The gentleman who was kind enough to allow me to record him said that the guitar gave him goosebumps when he played it.
Anyone not familiar with the repairs can look.at my blog in the Repair area of the forum. This is a players guitar, not a museum piece.
