Yes I glue the Bouchet bar to the bracing, a bit difficult to notch the bridge bar to the fans but if done well it offers a continuous cross brace which increases power, sustain, and clarity. These Bouchet style instruments are particularly good for baroque and polyphonic music!

Thank you! While I'm pretty good at French polishing this one was finished by Antonio Ariza in Granada who finishes 15-30 guitars a month for the best makers of Granada, Malaga, and Sevilla
