I do the same thing, which is why it was so striking.

Quick clip of my kit "Daisy" being played in our living room house concert. What a treat to hear her played by pros in a live setting! Band is Moors & McCumber. Great guys and great musicians.

ps. Now I have to build them two!

Looks awesome.
I think I’m going to start a 12 fret dread kit from john in the spring

I'm working on a video demo format so I can post my latest builds so went back and did one for this kit that I completed late last year.

Just a test video but it looks and sounds good so there it is.

I think in the future, I'll get someone who can really play it and open with them playing it then move to still photos while they are still playing.

ps. I'm not trying to make money off my guitars yet but I think those who sell guitars should advertise right now. I think they are going to sell quickly with everyone stuck at home and everyone's favorite musicians posting w/ their favorite acoustic guitar in their lap.

Great looking build, love that you did a 12 fret dread for your first one - also that you took on a french polish finish right out of the gate. Really nice.

Thanks. Had an HD28 selected 1st but did a deep listen to mahogany vs rosewood and decided Norman Blake’s 12 fret D18 is the one guitar that rises above all the rest for me. I’ll never sell this one no matter how many more I make.

I got the 12 fret form so am looking forward to making a rosewood one someday. There was only one 12 fret D28 made in the 30’s with sunburst. It’s on sale for 2 million dollars.
