Birthday guitar for grandson

Post by carld05 »

Parlor style, Antes plan, Cedar top, Narra back, sides, and binding, Manzanita bridge (pinless), rosette, fingerboard and peghead veneer. Someday I'll figure out how to get better pictures of this stuff.

I don't have any idea how old this grandson is or the degree to which his household is instrument-savvy, but I'd be presenting the guitar in a hardshell case and with a stand, and instructions as to how the stand and case are to be used. I'd hate to see such a nice instrument get damaged from being left around/out/lying on the floor/lying on furniture, exposed to who knows what kinds of unnecessary hazards.
