Just plain old Windex? Full strength out of the spray bottle? Does it do the same thing as Super Soft?

better it doesn't stain. Ammonia was used to help bend wood in the old days

Really nice, John. I like the thistle and clover (?) head inlay. Anxious to see the final result!

Thanks for that tip. I've seen references to ammonia in other forums. I'll be contacting you prior to using the new bender.
