New feature at my store

Post by tippie53 »

I will be starting to list what I call bargain kits
these will be a good quality kit . I get to Martin every 2 weeks and I get to hand pick parts
so these kits may or may not be all Martin or a mix but they will be a good quality kit that you can use to start

I will post links to them as I get them on the site so please let me know if you think it would be a good idea. I will post here so the members do get the first shot .

thanks

This kit is a nice set of figured mahogany. It is a 000 14 fret size with a fully assembled dovetail neck from CF Martin. The neck is dovetailed and ebony fretboard with a 1 3/4 in nut width. String spacing is 2 1/4. There is an ebony bridge to match.
The sides were bent here at Blues Creek and are set up and ready to build. They are trimmed and contoured . This kit will also have typical Martin braces and it is 24.9 short scale. Top is sitka spruce with a rosette installed. There is a tiny pitch pocket along the treble side and that is under the pick guard.
The binding is Dark old style and has the tail wedge and heel cap. Head stock veneer is rosewood and closed back tuners from Martin are included. There is a bone nut and saddle . All parts are included for this kit and it a nice kit indeed. The sides are high end and will make a pretty instrument. I support all kits I sell and this will work with the 000-14 fret mold . Be sure to use the spreader and check out the videos I have posted on You Tube
I have more pics posted on the KGF
