Number 2 ready for finish

Post by Super72bb »

Hi All,

Here are a few pictures of my second build. Thanks again for the help along the way, I think I asked less questions on this one but I still learned a lot and was able to refine my processes a bit more. This is a Blues Creek Kit a spruce / Birdseye Maple Drednaught.

Thanks John Hall, your continued support and assistance is very much appreciated. I am starting number 3 now a Spruce / Koa OM.

Cheers,
Curtis

Nice work, Curtis. Looking forward to seeing this one completed as well as the upcoming Koa OM!

A lovely job! The bear claw in the spruce will look great - is it Sitka?

Thanks Danl8, I just glued the blocks into the OM tonight. Stray feathers, I am not sure if it’s Sitka or German. I ordered a bear claw spruce to for the OM and it is German Spruce. This one looks different but also very cool.

Very nice inlay work. Great looking guitar - I really like the look of blonde maple
