It's not a guitar, but....

Post by MaineGeezer »

My wife wanted a walnut dulcimer. So I made a walnut (and cherry) dulcimer. I'm still working on the finish (TruOil). I got the walnut from KenCraft Company. They are not a "tonewood" supplier, but they will bookmatch pairs of boards on request. I was lucky enough to get one board that had some gorgeous figure at one end of it, which I used for the sides. It sounds really nice.

I've been waiting on some things for my cutaway OM project from hell, but I should be able to get back to that tomorrow or the next day.
