First Build it's a done deal

Post by Super72bb »

Well it took me longer than it should have but I finally finished my HD28 Martin Kit I guitar. I purchased it from Blues Creek Guitars. I had a great time every step of the way and I want to thank those of you who helped me with my questions along the way. I would also like to thank John Hall as well for all the great videos online and the help you gave me.

I am really thrilled with the result and it sounds amazing! This is a great hobby, I just glued the first run of Kerf lining in on #2 tonight. It's a BCG Kit Spruce Maple.

Cheers,
Curtis

Beautiful, and the finish is spectacular. Love the warm amber tones, looks like a $$$$ custom. Nice job, congrats. Maybe you give me finishing tips when I get there?

What's you finish? Sprayed or hand applied? Lovely work.
