Well,
This sorted out as a repair that turned into much more. I had bought a Martin X Custom 12 string for 75.00 that the top pulled off. I was going too re-top it. Then I just kept the neck assembly and bridge. I built a Martin Jumbo Style 12 string.
It plays easy and sounds just as good as any Martin or Taylor I have ever played. There may be a flaw or two, but I have about 400 in the guitar and it looks and sounds great. I might add a layered heel cap later and repair the 12th fret dot that is a little off. I just got antsy to hear it.
Thats for looking.
