Hey John!

With advise from Brian Howard, I used a 5 minute, 2 part epoxy. He said that some times he colors it black and other times he leaves it clear. I just mixed it and used it clear. I filled the holes as a last step before the final sanding with 320g paper. It sanded great and I had no issues when I french polished.

Brian uses System 3 epoxy. I had Gorilla 5 minute, 2 Part Epoxy on hand, so that's what I used. I was very pleased at how it turned out.
