Koa Wood in progress

Post by Woody OKeefe »

Tony asked for some more pics of my Koa project. After John Hall saved my bacon with some bubinga bindings, I don't mind showing it.

That is some purty Koa Woody. I seem to have a very bad case of WAS (wood acquisition syndrome) these last few months. I have been falling in love with every piece of nice wood I see and want to make myself a guitar from it! Next up for me, a ziricote OM. Or maybe a Koa OM. Or an EIR dread...

The top looks perfectly flawless. That's gonna be a sweet guitar.
