Three more pics and I will stop bragging!!!

I finished the pickguard today. 18th fret is slightly high on the high E side. Will fix that when I change strings and then I am REALLY done. Now if I can get the wife to let me start another one.....

Just in case anyone wants to know:
top: spruce
back/sides: maple
binding: rosewood w/ BW purfling
neck mahogany
fretboard, bridge, peghead veneer, pickguard: rosewood
peghead inlay: scrap maple from back

Thanks to John Hall for the great experience (and helpful answers) and to KMG for the mold and great info on neck geometry.

Alan, very, very nice job. That peghead inlay is terrific. What a good idea!
Couldn't help noticing the stand you use. I've been looking for stands for mine and haven't found what I want. Yours looks like it. Can you give the make, model, where to get, etc?

Seriously, very nice job. I'm not normally that fond of Maple but yours looks so good I may consider it.

Alan pm'd me and gave me a source for that stand and I bought 3 of them. 2 for not-yet built guitars. They are great (inexpensive) - and they don't overshadow the guitar that's in them, a very nice display item. Since I don't travel yet with any guitars, this takes the place of a case for me.
