this is a bluegrass cannon. A great guitar for lead and front work. Very responsive and tone is clear and very Martinish

The inlay was done by Tracey Cox. He figured out how to do a 3 D inlay process. I will be going up to NY to learn how. From what I can see it is a layered inlay and it is fascinating. Thanks for all the kind words.

Beautiful guitar, John! Is the BRW difficult to work with? I have heard it can splinter and crack. Sure looks nice on a guitar, though!

BRW is brittle but it isn't too bad. Take your time , it is a wood that is worth the effort
