Guitar will be delivered to the new owner soon!

Post by Kevin Sjostrand »

My son-in-law arrives in the USA tomorrow, and will be getting his guitar on Wednesday evening. I am
very excited to finally be able to give it to him. I will let you all know how he reacts.

So cool! Can you try to capture his reaction on camera? Maybe a short clip of him playing it, too? I'd love to see it.

Nice looking guitar, Kevin! Your son-in-law is a lucky man. He's gonna love it for sure.

Martin,
Great idea, I'll ask my daughter to shoot him when he first gets it, and plays it, and maybe I can post it. I'll try.

That's going to be one special moment. Great job Kev, and good luck to the new owner. He won't get anything done after getting that one.

So, my big brother was playing guitar and I figured I'd try it too.

Okay, the guitar was presented to it's owner last night, my son-in-law from India. He was very happy, and impressed. He had only seen the B & S and top wood in the raw, nothing of the build along the way. He said "it is just as I envisioned it". He likes the weight (this one is a bit heavy), and the balanced tone. It does not have a boomy bass, which probably is attributed to the non-scalloped X brace on the bass side.
So #1 and #3 guitars where played side by side, and it was a joy to see and hear, brought a tear to my eye!
I am "borrowing" #2 today, so I can get a picture of all 3 guitars I made together. I will post a picture of the group this weekend.
Also, my daughter did do a little video of Sammy getting his guitar last night, so I will try and post that too, it it is not too big a file to post.
Anyway, he is thrilled, I am happy he finally has it. It will be going to India in about 3 weeks.

NOW I can start #4.

Kevin,

That sounds wonderful. I am glad your son-in-law likes his guitar. I'd love to see the video. If it doesn't fit as an attachment, Private Message me or email me and I'll make sure we get it hosted.
