Don't worry about your playing. Here is an article done on my daughter last month:

https://nationalsawdust.org/thelog/2018 ... o-succeed/

In which the author asked a questions:

But your dad is also a musician, right?

He’s a guitar player, and he’ll tell you he taught me everything he knows—in about 15 minutes. That’s our little shtick. But he’s good. He plays fingerpicking blues guitar in the way that a lot of college students in the early seventies might have. He only plays around seven songs, but he plays them really well, tunes by Reverend Gary Davis and Mississippi John Hurt. And a killer version of “Teddy Bear’s Picnic.

She was wrong - it is 8 songs, and I learned to play in the late 60's.

Sorry, I still get a message that says "it may have been removed"

Ed

I've just corrected the url. I've tried it a couple of times and it seems to work now.

Hopefully this link works. Also, I don't play the guitar very well at all, so keep that un mind. I make all of the cats in Parkersburg scream when I play!

Dang, that is a wonderful sounding guitar. You must be very, very happy with it! BTW, how did you do the recording? (Mic, software, etc.)

That is a beautiful OM and a wonderful story Diane. And, by the way, your playing puts me to shame!
