I am posting a list of woods I have found that do work with CA and those that don't The don't usually will leave a glue signature under finish that you can't hide. It will usually stick just fine , so if you are planning on painting the guitar CA won't be an issue.
Works
East Indian rosewood
Honduran Rosewood
Brazilian rosewood
Ebony
Yucatan rosewood

Doesn't
Black limba
Spruce
Maple
Mahogany
Zebra wood
Koa
Sapele

as we get more info we will add to this list.

They're all bunched together on my view can see which "works" and which "doesn't."

John now you have me scared. I used Loctite gel CA for the ABS plastic binding on my last Mahogany Uke. Seemed to hold great. Should I anticipate problems down the line?

Thanks, Steve

Not really
Doing binding where you may see something is at the joint where the CA can wick into pores and leave under the finish glue marks. On spruce it will turn things yellow over time.
