Buffed out the backs, FP the tops

Post by glasalle1 »

I made some progress on the 2 guitars I am building. The Tru Oil had several weeks to harden, so today I sanded out the backs 3000 - 12000, Swirl remover, then Mequires 7. Still need to do the sides. Much better finishing so far over my first 2 guitars, but miles of improvement to go.

Here are the backs:

And the tops - still not sure when French Polishing is done... or is it ever?

The finish on both guitars looks fantastic. I can't conceive of why you would need improvement. They look perfect. Congratulations.
