Pore fill Koa?
I read recently in Woodcraft magazine that koa doesn't need to be pore-filled. Any truth to this??

Re: Pore fill Koa?
I find that it should be on a guitar. The pores in it need to be filled to avoid the finish dips.

Koa has grain like any other wood and must be filled unless you want the oil stain open grain effect
