Old English...Lowes...

Lemon Oil is Kincaid's recommended cleaner on an oil finish.

Does anyone know if Kinkade pore-fills his tru-oiled guitars? I see his method in one of the reviews, but do not see any mention of grain filler.

Dave - can't really tell from his book, the chapter flow is as follows:
preparation
  • filling gaps
    sanding
    masking
oil finish
waterborne lacquer
  • sealing
    pore-filling
    brushing or spraying the lacquer
    wet sanding and the final polish
He does not mention pore filling in the oil finish section. Maybe that's why I skipped it with #1! :)
