Re: Epoxy fillers
Dave L....sorry so late in answering...yes, I apply the sanding sealer before, as a sanding sealer and to prevent any potential staining of lighter colored woods, then again afterwards as a bond coat.

Re: Epoxy fillers
I contacted Pacer/Zap the sellers of Zpoxy asking about know compatibililtiy issues here's the reply, note that they are apparently "third" party sellers not the producer.
Hello Ken,
Thank you for contacting us. According to our expert distributor, FTE, the following information should be helpful:
After the Finishing resin is fully cured and sanded until it is a “flat” color, any common primer is compatible with it.
We have had excellent results with Rustoleum and similar quality products produced in Spray Cans.
Lacquer, Enamel and Poly Urethane Primer all work well. We have used Klass Kote Epoxy, and all of the PPG Automotive primers, with extreme success.
If there is any incompatibility problem, it will be with the paint used on top of the Primer, Not the primer over the Finishing Resin!
We hope this answers your questions.
