Yes it is pretty much expected that the natural POP will be tinted. Behlens makes tints and I've used regular artist oil paints.

I feel your frustration right through my computer. Tinting is one option as others have suggested, another is that you may want to use it natural if you need a clear pore filler, I don't know how "clear" it is, as I have never used it, just a thought.

I am sensing a bit of "pore filler" mis-understanding. Paste type fillers really come in dark, medium and natural. So it is up to the user to "tint" the product so that it matches or constrasts the pores in the wood being finished. As an example the dark "walnut" I think they call it -- is too brown for a good match with most Rosewood -- so I add some black artist oil paint. The Mahogany is nothing like Mahogany its kind of pinkish, so Van Dyke Brown is added. Finally the natural Pore o Pac is nothing at all like the clear pore filler -- which actually dries almost tranparent. The natural Pore O Pac dries yellow/tan

John good luck with your six pack offer.

I understand the tinting idea. I only purchased the med brown for this specific project. Since I don't plan on making another guitar till way later in the year figured I'd solicit ideas or give it away. So if anybody wants to pay for shipping I'll send it out.
