I posted the first half of this about 8 weeks ago. Just getting back to it and have added some steps. My daughter Mamie and John Hall have been instrumental in this repair. John - thanks for the idea of laminating the area of the top below the bridge.

First look at the damage and I wondered how on earth you were going to repair it, but the repairs are going very well!

I like the adaptation to the old weller soldering gun. Can't wait for the final revue. Keep them coming. Nice repair and picture details
