My family spent a lot of time in your area with a guy named Johann Conrad Weiser. I own some of Weiser’s old letters and have an old spinning mill from Ephrata Cloister. We were the first settlers in the Halifax region, where we still hold an annual family reunion . Purchased my first home from the Millers (Mullers) of Hegins, PA on the Juniata River, their summer home. Same area the Eisenhower's were from before moving to Kansas!
