Help in Minneapolis area?

Is there any group I can contact that helps first timers. I'm 70. Youngest to die in my family was 102. I have time to learn something new. gnomes70
It's kind of late answering this post but just in case he comes back. There's finally a guitar builders group in the Minneapolis area.

Another member alerted me to the group. He's going to go to one of the meetings to check it out. I live a fair distance from where they meet so I'll wait to see what he has to say about the meeting before I commit to going. They meet the fourth Monday of the month, if I remember correctly.
