John,

I was unclear after watching the video. You were finished bending when the temp was about 240F. Did you let the purfling "cook" at that temperature for 5 min or so or did you shut the controller off at that temp (the bending was finished).

Would I use a similar procedure for herringbone?

When I am finished bending , and by that I mean that I have the product on the bending pattern I will usually use about 5 to 10 min at a lower heat 190F or so to help dry things off, Herringbone I will bend about 220F than allow to cool and set in the bender over night
