Tuner Restoration

Post by Diane Kauffmds »

The 000 has an original set of working tuners. How do I get rid of the rust safely and clean them up?

You could try some stuff called Evapo-Rust. http://www.evapo-rust.com/ It's environmentally safe and in my limited experience works reasonably well.

I would remove the tuner buttons before soaking the parts. And, of course, keep an eye on things.
