A question - how did you get the shape correct before gluing on the back? Did you make a mold?

Ed
Thank you Ed. I used long clamps, which I gently tightened. The problem was cross body, from the left bout to the upper right bout. Gentle pressure, mid curve, on each bout, trued the sides. Clamping wasn't easy. I used foam rubber under each end of the clamp to keep it from slipping. I had to clamp it under the body, so I put the body on blocks. I also had to support the clamp with blocks.

It's a parlor, so the body isn't too thick. Otherwise I would have had to make a mold.
