this is an older 59 00-17 . The guitar was originally a rightie that was converted to leftie now we are making it Right again.
The issue was the original slot was filled with ebony. The saddle slot didn't look right so as I looked close I could see the treble side of the saddle didn't look right. I routed out from the back and soon discovered the saddle slot was not level and the saddle wasn't seated right. I decided it was best to over rout the area a hide glue it back together. I will recut the slot Thur and I am sure it will be back to fine.
The nut is also gone and I will recut that also.
