Name is Ed and I have been reading the posts here for over a month now. We (wife Carol) and I bought a guitar from Blues Creek, an OM-28. First guitar and we are now working on it. The posts here and Johns videos (we have 60 now) have given us the confidence to do this. We watch Johns videos on the TV and you would laugh at the conversations we have. "What did he say?", " I don't know, back it up." "Were did he put those parallels?" "What does that mean?"

Anyway it's not him, it's us not knowing the terminology. We finally got a lot figured out now and are having a lot of fun.

I think it was a Japanese philosophy that the difference between an expert and an amateur is that the expert has made all the mistakes.
