took long enough

I did the building class with John in March, 2017. He encouraged me to sign up then. I'm just now getting to it.

The guitar is a spruce and Yucatan (Mexico) rosewood 00, 12-fret, short scale. It has become my main guitar when I play...anywhere.

Right now I am working on a StewMac tenor ukulele kit that I picked up a couple of years age, and I'm just now about half done with it. I think I'm seeing a trend here. I ran into a few issues with it, but I figured them out. The quality is....okay.

Rumor has it that my wife got me one of the new all solid wood kits for Christmas. I'll let you know.

What's in the picture? Looks like Santa's workshop.

One should allow plenty of time for the wood to stabilize before beginning construction. Two years seems about right... ;-)

Love the build. I hope you post pictures of the uke and your Christmas present.
