I would just like to say hello to everyone here, and a big thank you to John Hall, for helping to guide me to the right place. I have always wanted to build a couple of my own guitar(s) all of my life, and now that I am in the company of knowledgeable folks, I am sure that I can do it.

Thanks Diane,
I ordered 2 books this morning from Bill Cory, and I am completely blown away by all of the great information that is available in this forum. Now, I am in the process of starting to build some of my jigs and getting my tools together. I am planning to make some of them myself as I can, if some of you guys, and gals will be so kind as to coach me along with the process. I have read that some of you made your own gobar decks, and the rods as well. That is very impressive, I am a big believer in using common sense too.
