Hello from Baltimore
Hello. My name is Dan and I'm a new member here. I've been a custom woodworker specializing in high end furniture and millwork in my own shop since 1989. I love guitars, own a few Martins and a couple of turn of the century parlors, a player since 1979.
I found the site following John's threads and advise (thank you John) on the UMGF. I live in Baltimore, and I hope to meet John and take a course in building from scratch, when his time is available.
You're a generous bunch. I look forward to learning from you all and sharing my project(s) too.
Dan

Welcome Dan, You're right about this site being friendly and a good source of practical knowledge. Speaking of which a couple of us in the Baltimore area (including Kyle who you already "met") get together from time to time to check out each other's projects and talk guitar building. Let me know if you're interested.

Thanks for the welcome everybody. And thanks so much for the invites. I bought a Nick Lucas repro that bridge work (removed, repaired and re-glued). There will be questions...
