Hey Folks,
I'm really excited to have found this forum and I have been reading through it for the last couple of days.
I live in Horsham, Pa., which is about 17 miles north west of Philadelphia.
I've built a couple guitars over the last couple of years but I'm looking forward to picking up the pace a bit and concentrate on scratch builds. To date, I've only done one scratch build which was a Tele style. I want to focus more on the acoustics. In my opinion, there is nothing more gratifying then hearing a hand built instrument sing for the first time!!
My shop is WAY TOO SMALL and is on the second floor of my home which is not the best of arrangements, but it works okay. I really enjoy making shop built tools and jigs. My two big shop built accomplishments are a 24" drum sander and a 24" X 48" cutting capacity CNC machine. I'm looking forward to using that to make a couple radius dishes and other useful guitar building goodies.
Other than the wealth of information found here what I really need is what everyone else is looking for....more time to do the things that I like to do.
Cheers,
Joe
