started this a while ago , a D35 Martin that was badly damaged. My customer sent it to someone and I had to tear it down and start from the blocks. He decided to make it a 45 style D35. I will be doing the binding later this week.
the key to these are get the neck set , then assembled so you get the rosette to align to the fretboard.

once fretboard attached to neck you can adjust the neck location. I use 2 small brad nails in the fret slot to help align the board on the neck to check. Once I am good I glue the neck and fret board together. then recheck. Notice the binding and pearl along the fret board. Once I get the fret board extension secured this will really Pop.
