My nephew's wife bought him a Martin Herringbone kit. He wants to move the braces forward. Is it feasible to shift them to the top of the marks on the top? Looks like it would be 3/8" forward. Would we need a different bridge plate since the plate would be forward 3/8's of an inch?
Thanks,
Benjy

Re: Moving the x braces foward
You can do that BUT REMEMBER the bridge plate must stay in the original position so you would need a new bridge plate.
if you move it forward ,the pins will most likely miss the plate.
