Here I use a milling machine with a digital readout. I have to put together a slotting jig for a drill press. The old Martin through bridges we done with a saw. Marking any hole for the pins is easy.
Start at the center , In most cases the holes are about 3/4 inch from the front of the bridge . The go from there. A trick is to use chalk , then pencil marks are more visible. Lets say an example is 2 1/4 spacing. The holes will be .450 apart. From center to 1 and 6 1 1/8. Use a sharp nail to make a center start and you will reduce the drill bit walking.

Yes, good material. I'm thinking of many uses for a
grizzley oscilating sander.
Slowest builder on the forum. These things take time. Apparently.

there are many jigs I have made to go with the sander , In fact that may be a great topic for a new video
