KMG does not offer side profile templates -- The approximation provided above will get you in the ballpark.

I stock side patterns for the Dred and 000 . Between them and the dishes I can pop a side for a guitar in no time . It sure helps .

Bob and anyone else interested, here are the tools I used this afternoon to profile some sides. The block is to make the 'sandwich' Ken referred to. (block/side/table) This was a 15 min. job by hand. Would have gone faster if the kids weren't all fighting upstairs (first day of Christmas break) :)

Clean up with a small plane, and a chisel helps the transitions between waist and neck block angle.

The dimensions are different then Ken's but the idea is the same. (this is the peruvian walnut L-OO)
