The Irish vine fretboard

Post by Diane Kauffmds »

I've designed the fretboard, but have only gotten this fat before having surgery. I used an oxalis plant (shamrock) as a design idea.

Shamrock flowers come in 2 colors, white and violet. I'm making the flowers with white abalone. The flowers (2 each), on frets 5 and 12 will be violet and made from either dyed wood, or violet pearl epoxy that i pour, then cut like shell. The tiny flower centers are yellow. I'll cut that First, then pour yellow epoxy directly in.

The rest of the vine will be green interference pearl epoxy.
