eBay Uke Kit

This is one of those $32 uke kits on eBay. If you are just looking for a glue-and finish-type of kit this might be a good starting point, but the parts are definitely factory seconds or QA failures.
The rosette is laser-engraved onto the soundboard.
There are some issues with the binding. Besides some discoloration the binding doesn't go far enough to be hidden by the neck joint, so either I will have to try to patch in a bit of extra binding, or just leave the gap.
The neck joint is a butt joint to the body so it presumes that the glue is strong enough and that the neck angle is correct. I'm debating if I want to change the neck joint to a mortise and tenon.
