Update and question ... I have replaced the bridge with a rosewood bridge and glued the neck to the body and crowned the frets. I am now working on the nut. Bill Cory’s book talks about what to do, but doesn’t say if you glue the nut in place or not. So, do you glue the nut down? I would assume so, but maybe I should finish shaping it and slotting it first just in case I make a mistake.
Thanks for all your help. I am almost done!

Re: Martin Jumbo - Rosewood Kit
All the nut needs is a dot of glue on the nut between the nut and the fingerboard, just so's the nut doesn't want to wander away. On a good day a nut is friction-fit to its slot and the glue is used to maintain location.

A dot of any glue will do - Titebond, fish, hide, super, etc
