Getting close to the finish line now.
Neck's on, with oak heel cap and BW line....

That picture makes the sides look much redder than the back...there's not that much difference.
Walnut bridge in place, drilled and reamed.

Walnut pickguard and tuner knobs.

Gold tuners should be here today along with nut and saddle material. Might be strung up tonight!

Wipe of dark stain to highlight the grain, then sand it back.
Touch of amber shellac, then clear.
Bit of a pain in the butt to get all the surfaces to match when you sand something back, which is why it’s not a recommended practice.
I really liked the look though.
